Tax Preparers

We are hiring tax preparers to join our team.  This is a seasonal, part-time position.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience with Intuit ProSeries a plus
Strong organizational skills.
Reliable and trustworthy
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight
1+ year experience preparing tax returns – AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

Role:
This person will be completing State and Federal tax returns for individuals and small businesses (corporate returns, depending on experience). If you enjoy tasks that require a great attention to detail and are passionate about making an impact, this Tax Preparer position may be a great match for your skills.

Responsibilities:
Check in with clients to gather imperative information/documents
Plug in applicable data into Tax software application – Intuit ProSeries
Put transaction tax returns in order utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
Maintain other related duties

Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities for Payroll Specialist

  • Process payroll for employees in the organization
  • Maintain personnel database regarding salaries
  • Report to department supervisor regarding daily activities and issues
  • Work with company database programs to process payroll
  • Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense

Qualifications for Payroll Specialist

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred
  • Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required
  • Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
  • Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision

Bookkeeper:
Our company is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join our team.

Experience and Education:
5+years experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Associates Degree or higher preferred but not required.
Payroll and/or tax experience a plus.

Qualifications:
Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop
Strong organizational skills.
Reliable and trustworthy
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to work remotely when needed.
Ability to multitask and be flexible.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to demonstrate bookkeeping and accounting skills.
Must be able to demonstrate technical skills on software applications and computer systems.

This is a part-time position with the option of expanding to full-time.
